Damage to jewellery can happen due to normal wear and tear or if one is not careful with the jewellery item, remember jewellery is delicate. We will repair the piece at no charge within 6 months of purchase. After this, there will be a repair fee charged to the customer. This amount will be determined after inspection of the product.
Plated jewellery requires slightly more care than solid materials. If the plating on your piece wears off, we offer one free plating on all plated purchases and there after at a fee of R250. Please note that all courier fees will be at your own expense.
If for any reason you lose or damage your jewellery, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help. We are happy to make individual earrings if required.
We love working one on one with clients to make their dreams a reality. We are able to work with the client's exsisting gold and diamonds.
Sending along reference images so that we can get a feel for what you’re looking for is immensely helpful and highly encouraged. Wanting multiple elements in a piece that requires extensive research and designing is subject to a design fee on a case-by-case basis.

By booking an appointment in advance, you give us the opportunity to narrow down the options and source the elements we think you’ll love most. So please be sure to make an appointment with us before visiting our studio.
Changed your mind? No problem, you can return your items up to 30 days after you receive them for an exchange or store credit.
Returned goods must be unworn, in perfect condition and accompanied by the original packaging. Exchanges are subject to availability. If an item is not in stock, store credit will automatically be issued.

* Unfortunately we can't take responsibility for broken chains. Chains, by nature, are extremely delicate and need to be handled with great care by the wearer. The replacement fee for chains is R150 for sterling silver and R1200+ for gold, depending on length.

We recommend using registered mail, as we are not liable for any items lost in the post. Or you can contact us to arrange collection with our couriers at R200. We do not refund international duties or taxes.
Meraki Jewellery reserves the right to refuse any return.
If the customer is shipping to a destination outside South Africa, on top of Meraki Jewellery's shipping cost, tax, customs and import duties will be levied by the client’s local government. All additional taxes and fees are the responsibility of the client. This can range from 20% to 40% of the order value.
Items will be shipped from Cape Town, South Africa, with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in South African Rands. We will not declare goods as a gift or lower the value. This protects both the customer and us the shippers.
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so if something isn't quite right we're very happy to exchange it for you. Contact usif you what to discuss your exchange, otherwise return your item as described above, stating what you would like to exchange it with.
Yes! As long as you have proof of purchase (origional packaging is fine), then we can exchange your item. Please follow the instructions above.
If you would like a replacement chain for your jewellery, we can change it for you for the price of the new chain plus postage. Email usfor more information.
Meraki Jewellery Design has the right to refuse any sale. Right of refusal may be due to delayed updates, website hacking or fraudulent sales. Payment in full will be refunded within 10 working days of purchase.
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping, both domestic and internationally is sent with safe and reliable door to door delivery. International parcels are shipped with FedEx Express.
Kindly note that customers are liable for all import duties & taxes applied to their shipment.

Please note all our items are custom made and manufactured on order. Please allow 10 to 15 working days lead time for Sterling Silver and Brass pieces and 15 to 20 days for solid gold pieces. Please allow for an additional 2-4 working days for delivery depending on your location. We will deliver to your door as soon as possible.
As soon as we have shipped your order, you will receive a tracking number for your parcel.

We want your experience with us to be enjoyable, comfortable and stress-free. From designing, sourcing gemstones or diamonds to the manufacture process, it will take anywhere between 2-4 weeks depending on the intricisy of your design.
Our items are packed in beautiful custom Meraki packaging. Please note that all jewellery pieces within an order are packed in a single box otherwise specified. If you would prefer your order packed in separate boxes, please get in touch with us before your order has been shipped.
